Myofascial Bodywork

Thoracic Outlet Release

Our targeted, signature Thoracic Outlet Release is ideal for clients who have either been diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome by their doctor, or who regularly experience these common symptoms:

  • Pain or aches in the neck, shoulder, arm or hand.
  • Numbness or tingling in the arm or fingers, especially when first waking in the morning or while sleeping.
  •  Arm fatigue with activity.
  •  A weakening grip.

This massage includes a unique blend of structural massage modalities, including myotherapy, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, and can be enhanced with cupping or scraping.

Our signature Thoracic Outlet Release Massage is a full 60 minutes long to ensure that you receive all the care and attention your body deserves. It can also be added onto a 90-minute full-body session.

WHAT IS THORACIC OUTLET SYNDROME?

Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) is a condition in which blood vessels or nerves in the thoracic outlet region -- an area between the neck and shoulder -- are compressed. Common causes of TOS include physical trauma, such as from automobile accidents or repetitive injuries from activities like work or sports.

If you have been diagnosed with TOS, or experience any of its symptoms, our massage can help you find the relief you need.
